Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
This policy explains what 1600 Lab, run by Gabriel Fernandes, collects and how it's used.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a securely hashed password.
- Practice data: your answers, scores, test date, study plan and saved progress, so the app can personalize your practice.
- Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep your subscription status and a Stripe customer ID.
How it's used
- To run the app and personalize your practice.
- To write new questions and explanations: the relevant parts of your practice data (for example, the questions you missed) are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate content. They are not used to identify you.
- To send account emails (sign-up confirmation, password resets, billing receipts).
We don't sell your data, show ads, or share your practice data with anyone except the service providers that run 1600 Lab: Supabase (accounts and database), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI) and Netlify (website hosting).
Who can see your data
Only you. Each account's practice data is private to that account.
Students under 18
1600 Lab is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing gabrielclaude2007@gmail.com. Deleting your account removes your practice data; Stripe keeps billing records as the law requires.
